Office of the Vice President for Business and Institutional Development (VPID)
The Office of the Vice President for Business and Institutional Development is accountable to the president and plays a crucial role in the overall institutional development of the university. It is responsible for the establishment and advancement of university business enterprises, university companies and university endowment fund; provision of knowledge-based training and consultancy services that generate income for the institute in addition to enhancing university-community partnerships; and for the development and expansion of university buildings, grounds and infrastructure.
To carry out these huge responsibilities, the office will be organized with three directorates.
These are:
Project Office,
Income Generation Office, and
Information and Technology Communication Office.

1.Construction Project Directorate
Major tasks of the office:
Follow up and monitor all construction activities.
Prepare and implement annual and quarterly maintenance plans to ensure that the university grounds, buildings and infrastructure are in optimum working condition. Develop and maintain a risk management and emergency response mechanism for the university to ensure that buildings and infrastructure are protected and where necessary there are contingency plans in place for major eventualities. Ensure that maintenance requests are responded to in an appropriate amount of time based upon their urgency.

2.INCOME GENERATION DIRECTORATE
Major tasks of the office
The income generation office is accountable to the Office of the Vice President for Institutional Development.
It organizes and manages the operation of the University revenue generation centers under the office and involve in entrepreneurial activates of the university enterprises and private (other) business centers operating at different campuses.

3.INFORMATION COMMUNICATION AND TECHNOLOGY DIRECTORATE
Major tasks /objectives
The core objectives of the ICT Directorate are to address key ICT infrastructural, services and business automation needs of the University with reference to the strategic plan.
These include:
ICT Infrastructures and services enhancement and expansion to enable technology-enhanced education and innovation
Digitizing and Automating operational academic, research, service provision and administrative business processes.
Creating seamless and secured educational environment
Driving ICT human capacity development, maximizing business-enabling collaborations and industry linkages
Provision of ICT technical support and maintenance services to streamline the operational business processes of the university
