What’s happening in the project?
✔Stakeholder data collection underway on telemedicine education and training needs in Ethiopia and Somalia
✔Work in progress on a comprehensive report on the status of telemedicine in both countries
✔Planning of staff training for Somali and Ethiopian university educators this September
✔Preparations for equipment purchases to strengthen local educational infrastructure
About the Project
DigHealth – Micro-credentials in Digital Health for Ethiopia and Somalia is an Erasmus+ capacity-building initiative focused on improving healthcare education through innovative micro-credentials in digital health. The project supports telemedicine, e-health, and digital literacy—empowering universities, educators, and healthcare professionals in both countries.
With a strong EU-Africa partnership, DigHealth is helping shape accessible, high-quality, and future-ready healthcare systems.
