Bule Hora University hosts entrepreneurship workshop for women

Bule Hora University, in collaboration with The Entrepreneurship Development Institute (EDI), organized a six-day training workshop on entrepreneurship for 35 women from the university and the town government sectors. The workshop, which ran from 11 to 16 December 2023, was the 889th round of training conducted by EDI, an autonomous institution established in 2013 with the support of UNCTAD to promote entrepreneurship and micro, small and medium sized enterprises in Ethiopia. The workshop was facilitated by four certified trainers, led by Dr. Tegenu Yai, who is the coordinator of the workshop. Dr. Tegenu Yai said that the workshop aimed to empower women who have interest to become successful entrepreneurs and change the environment. The workshop concluded with a ceremony where awards were presented to the trainees who excelled in various fields, & certificates of participation were given to all the participants.
