Library Policies & Regulations

  1. Library Membership:
    • Access to the library is reserved for registered students, faculty, and staff of Bule Hora University.
    • Users must present a valid university ID card to borrow materials or access library facilities.
  1. Borrowing Policies:
    • Users are allowed to borrow a specified number of books for a set duration.
    • Renewals of borrowed materials may be permitted unless there is a hold request by another user.
    • Overdue fines will be charged for late returns.
  2. Behavioral Expectations:
    • Respectful behavior is required at all times within the library premises.
    • Quiet zones must be observed in designated study areas.
    • Food and drinks are not allowed near library materials or computer stations.
  3. Electronic Resources:
    • Respect copyright laws when using electronic resources.
    • Users are responsible for their online activities and must not engage in unauthorized downloading or sharing of copyrighted materials.
  4. Library Facilities:
    • Use library equipment and facilities responsibly.
    • Report any damages or malfunctions to library staff immediately.
  5. Group Study Rooms:
    • Group study rooms must be booked in advance.
    • Rooms should be vacated promptly at the end of the reserved time.
  6. Lost or Damaged Materials:
    • Users are responsible for lost or damaged materials and will be charged for replacement costs.
    • Notify library staff immediately if any material is damaged.
  7. Personal Belongings:
    • Personal belongings should not be left unattended in the library.
    • The library is not responsible for any loss of personal items.
  8. Library Hours:
    • Adhere to the library's operating hours.
    • Special hours during holidays or exam periods will be communicated in advance.
